Sustainable development

VINCI Park’s focus is set firmly on sustainable mobility.

Our sustainable development strategy is based on centralised coordination of decentralised action, supported by a rigorous environmental reporting system.

In France, each regional department has a sustainable development coordinator; in other countries, senior management decides how to implement our strategy. The coordinators are responsible for gathering environmental data in their region, organising actions, raising awareness and spreading best environmental practices.

The major areas we target are controlling electricity consumption, reducing fuel consumption, managing waste and improving air quality.

 

When building new car parks, we give preference to high environmental quality solutions whenever possible.

We also promote mobility modes that limit greenhouse gas emissions. To that end, we have introduced solutions for new forms of inter-modality.

We are a partner of European Mobility Week, confirming our commitment to mobility. This is reflected in our actions to promote the use of bicycles and other more environmentally friendly ways of getting around.
